Under INSTRUMENTS our latest calculations can be found for the instruments with at least 500 periods of historical data. Currently we have over 1500 such charts. After choosing a chart its current market situation is shown, i.e. a candlestick chart for the last 10 periods. They are updated in 10 minutes after the end of a period (hour or day or week). Our similarity explorer then shows the 5 most similar situation from the past (1. similar situation ... 5. similar situation). Our prognoses are based on the assumption that investors behave similarly in similar market situations, thus an average of the 5 most similar situation in the past is calculated and shown in two parts: "Composite" is an average of the recent market movements'equivalents in the past, and "Avarage development of similar situations" is the average of their further development. Thus, you can see what will probably happen if the investors behave similarly as they did previously in similar situations. The preset setting shows the average development for the next 20 periods.
Uptrend / downtrend probability show the number of times the close price of a later period was over / under the close price of the one that resembles the current one.
Under TOP PICK the most probably trending instruments are collected from each instrument category, i.e. the ones that have the highest probability to raise (marked with green) or to fall (marked with red). "Trend" shows the most probable direction according to the above calculation method, while "change" shows the average change of the price after 8 periods in past similar situations.
INDICATORS show the average of the calculated uptrend probabilities of each market segments and regions. In "pcs" (= pieces) the number of different instruments is shown for each category, and "uptrend probability" shows their average probability of moving upwards according to the above model.
In SEARCH SIMILAR you can search similar situations from the past with your own preferred settings, not only with our preset method. This means that you can choose the number of periods to look back, the number of periods in the future to show averege of the past similar situations, and the number of most similar situations. Full charts are also shown, not only their average.
In MY PORTFOLIO you can classify your favourite instruments in your own portfolios. You can create as many portfolios as you like, place your favourite instruments into them, and later query all of them in a single mouseclick. You can view 2 of your portfolios at a time, one in the left hand side table and one in the right, which allows you to simply move an instrument from one portfolio into another with the small arrow icons. Portfolio tables can be sorted by clicking on their column titles.
